This pole shed is simple, small, yet practical. The pole barn is found on the property of Lake Forest School District in Felton, Kent County, Delaware. The one large overhead door allows for easy in and out of vehicles, lawn care equipment, and items to be stored. A clear panel on the eave side of the pole shed allows natural light into the pole building, without the added security risk of regular windows, as well as helping keep down electrical costs. 12” overhang on all four sides enhances the ventilation in the pole shed, and adds some protection from the rain as one enters the building. The two bollards at the garage door opening prevent the occasional bumps and bangs on the opening of the building from damaging the metal. This multi-style and multi-function pole building is located at Eagle Crest Airport in Sussex County, Milton, Delaware. It provides housing for an airplane, work area for an office, and storage space for anything that needs a place to be protected from wind, rain and sun. The large bi-fold doors allow for the most clearance in an opening with a door. The window and entrance door with windows allow natural light in. The gambrel trusses in the one gable end allows for a bonus room in the attic area, which provides space for more storage, a craft room, a game room or whatever the need may be for additional space!
