Agricultural Learning Center – 30’ x 40’ x 10’

Agricultural Learning Center – 30’ x 40’ x 10’

This large but "Plain Jane" pole building is located in Felton, Delaware. The clear panel on the top of the eave wall allows natural light in the building without compromising security. The overhang on both eave sides enhances ventilation while enhancing the looks of the overall pole building. On this building on the gable end there is an overhead door, however a slider door would also work well and is typically less expensive. In addition to the overhead door, an entrance door is a good idea so that the overhead door doesn’t need to be opened each time you enter the building. This reduces the wear and tear on the overhead door and prolongs the life of the overhead door parts. Basic in design, but numerous in uses!
  • 4/12 pitch
  • 12” overhang on eave sides
  • One 9’ x 8’ overhead door
  • One 3’0” x 6’8” solid entry door
  • 2’ clear panel on eave sides

The overhead door in the middle of the one eave side makes entrance into the middle building easy for standard size cars and trucks. The large split slider door on the gable end allows for large vehicles and equipment to be stored as well. To conserve on electricity, (go green!), there is clear panel at the top of the eave walls allowing the natural light in without compromising security like ordinary glass windows could. The bollards at the overhead doors and slider doors keep the doorways safe from those inevitable "bumps".
